About APIHub Kenya
Why we built this
If you've ever tried to find a Kenyan API for payments, SMS, or government data, you know the pain. Documentation is scattered across dozens of provider sites, half the links are broken, and there's no easy way to compare what's out there. We built APIHub Kenya to fix that. One place to search, compare, and pick the right API for your project.
How it works
We crawl public sources to find APIs offered by Kenyan and African providers, then organize them into a searchable directory. Each listing shows docs links, auth type, pricing, and live uptime stats so you can tell at a glance whether an API is worth your time. The directory updates automatically, so you're not looking at stale information.
Built for developers
You can rate APIs, leave reviews, and ask questions in discussion threads tied to each listing. Bookmark the ones you use regularly. We also run a recommendation engine that surfaces APIs related to what you've been browsing, which is handy when you're exploring a new category.
For providers
If your API shows up here and you want to manage the listing, you can claim it through the provider portal. Update your docs link, fix the description, whatever you need. Listings are free. If you'd rather not be listed at all, send us a removal request and we'll take it down within 48 hours.
